Rain, rain...

go away. We've had a lot of rain the last two days. The river has come up quite a bit. There's been a lot of debris, logs, sticks, etc. coming down the river. We spent some time in the river "cabin" today watching and listening to the river. This is a pretty good sized log that came down. About 30" to 36" or so on the big end. There were long logs too, so long I couldn't get them all in the shot (but not as big around). Now the wind is blowing like crazy! The metal "thing" in the picture is our stairway that we can raise via a pulley for the winter.
