Things are getting heated

So Joe accidentally almost killed us both tonight, she invited me for dinner, which was wonderful. About an hour later we smell some thing. Thats when we noticed the thick white smoke through the glass living room door. ARRFGGHHHHH

Jo "turned" off the hob and she and I ran out of the building as we did start to choke. We tagged teamed back in to get windows open, I felt things were getting worse not better, so went to check. Jo had turned the hob down but not off!!! lol Also the pot was still on the hob anyway. We decided to move it outside - thank god.

At first we had thought there was a melted spoon in the pot that made it smell so horrid. Turned out the small piece of plastic left was from the handle of a whole plastic colander!!!! OMG no wonder if stank so bad.

Bless him a delivery guy offered help though we weren't sure what kind, if we're honest ~(as we admitted to one another later) we thought the guy was gonna rob jo's house lol- thankfully we didn?t need his assistance.


After getting the pot out the house and with the windows open the house was clear of the smoke within 15 mins, but i think that smell may linger for a while!
