Whilst finishing off the marking and recording of results for the final exams, we had quite a blether today about all sorts of things. The most animated discussions came from talk about the situation in Tunisia (and whether or not something similar could ever happen in Egypt*), the denial that there is such a thing as a Muslim terrorist, and why some people deserve to be stoned to death. It's all very interesting, but I do long for a bit of proper banter now and again.

This is view from the window behind Bag-O-Pills' desk, who once again appears to have completely made up all the grades for her students. Nobody wants to say anything as we've all seen her when she's angry.

You see that palm tree sticking up in the middle? Well it's not a palm tree (as I was once laughed at for thinking), but rather a mobile phone mast.


*No, was the consensus, as Egyptians generally don't think anything can be done to change their country through politics.
