First stop of our summer trip: Niagara Falls

Periodically, people try 'navigating' the falls. There's a quaint little museum next to the falls, which documents these attempts. Surprisingly, a woman was the first to do this -- and survive.
The worst outcome for such attempts was a guy who thought he'd stabilize himself by tying an anchor to his feet within a closed barrel. Needless to say, by the time they recovered the barrel, he was minced meat (literally...)
