The best laid schemes ...

Put in this new full height partition wall today ... this was meant to be a wee DIY job ... the idea was to have it all done by early evening and then head down to Musa in Aberdeen to see the Withered Hand, Woodpigeon & Foxhunting gig. As the bard observed though, the best laid schemes o' mice and men gang aft agley ... and we were probably only putting the first plank on the frame by the time the gig was due to start.

This shot was taken about 23:00 just when I had cleared up this stall of tools.

I like making things out of wood, its amazing to think that you start with a big pile of timber and after a while you can make something totally different.

Lighting for the shot is, again, with the halogen site lights - which in this case were actually being used to turn darkness into light for working anyway ...
