Pin Hole Truck

We had a very long day travelling today, high up in the Rock and Pillar Range, the track went for as far as the eye could see, rugged country, not for the faint hearted. The old Dunstan road was created in the Gold Mining Days, it was easy to travel in the comfort of a modern 4x4 but the poor miners walked from Dunedin to the gold fields it would have been a very hard life.
