Looking Innocent!
Today was the first day back from vacation and the first order of business was to take Chloe to the vet to have her stitches (actually they were staples) removed.
She looks innocent in this photo, but she wanted to get her teeth into every dog in the waiting room. She doesn't realize that she wouldn't even make a satisfying snack for those other guys! We decided that it must be a small dog survival instinct -- to scare the other dogs into believing the small one is the toughest. It looks hilarious, but the trick works and the other dogs are afraid of her. How crazy is that?!
The vet assistant took Chloe into the examining room and in no time the assistant brought her back with all the staples removed and two of her vaccinations completed and we were on our way. She no longer has to wear the inter-tube around her neck to keep her from messing with the incision.
Hey, it's the 17th and that's always a good day!
Good night from Southern California.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun, and Chloe), aka Carol
P.S. Chloe joined our family just three weeks ago (the day after Christmas). She was spayed on December 29th. She is a very affectionate dog, and we are enjoying her immensely.
