The white challenge

I picked this flower from the garden thinking that it would be an easy capture. I never imagined that it's whiteness would be so challenging. I'm still not happy with what I have chosen from the couple dozen shots I took. I remember the one time that I challenged myself to do a painting in oil of eggs, never finished it, never could get the light and shadows right. It's just one of those days I guess.
