No school!

We woke up this morning to a text message on my phone....school was cancelled because of the weather again today.

It's been a crazy weather day....started as snow overnight, turned to freezing rain which put a thick layer of ice on top of the 2 1/2 feet of snow we had, and now it's raining. The rain should be turning back over to snow later this afternoon.

The roads are a mess, ice all over, and tree limbs and utility lines are expected to come down with the weight of the wet snow. Doesn't make for a good 'go out and get some blips' type of day.

So, inside fun it is today....Jack and I made some french toast for breakfast, then we've been playing with his train set. Two years ago, Santa Claus made Jack quite a nice train table, and had it all set up with tracks, bridges, tunnels, and lots of trains. He loves it and plays with it all of the time. These are a few shots of Christmas 2009 after Jack walked into his playroom to find his huge surprise from Santa!

I love watching him play, he's got such a great imagination!! I'm sure this is something he'll enjoy for many years!!
