Blue sky over Cabot Tower, Signal Hill

Today I went for a drive into town and felt compelled to go up to Signal Hill.

Cabot Tower is well on its way to being my favourite landmark to blip and Signal Hill is itself a wonderful vantage point from which to see the entire city to the south and the west, the harbour and the Narrows to the south east, as well as a great expanse of Atlantic Ocean to the east and Cape Spear in the distance. Once, last summer, I saw whales frolicking in the waters outside the harbour. Today, the sun was not setting yet and the pretty clouds were not where I wanted them to be, but I still enjoyed the view.
