Celtic Connections

Had the pleasure of Tom Jones' company tonight at Celtic Connections.
But he probably wasn't aware of my presence!

A blast from the past@ 72 (?) but hey, what a voice and an amazing range of vocals compared to the new kids on the block in X-factor and the like.

Sang most of his new album (Praise and Blame) plus a few oldies that had the grannies waving their arms in the front row of the balcony! Always worth remembering his breakthrough hit of 'Its not unusual' (which was included in the gig) was 45 years ago.

A pity the shots of him on stage were a bit blurred, so I have to make do with theses stills before he arrived!
