remnants of dinner with friends

We had a gang of friends for dinner, as always there was good food, good conversation, lots of laughs and good fun.

When I set the table these rings were napkins rings; at some point after dinner they became toys of a sort and sparked a conversation (and a google search) in regard to a certain bar game that was called something besides shuffleboard... :)
