High Above the Chimney Tops.....

I was in the attic room in the house today, waiting for the Sunset. The Boys in the Office were telling me how glorious the sunset was over Arran, and I knew that I would get an equally lovely sky glow a few minutes later.

As I watched out the window three stories up, I was struck again at how massive the world is.

I watched a plane come in over the Atlantic, and I thought I would try to capture it. I fired off a few shots, and then out the corner of my eye, spotted another plane coming in landward - it looked as if it was on the exact same flight path.

I held my breath and waited, and they passed each other easily.

I'm going to look for a new lens - I want to see closer!
