Sweet Sentiments

Ok. . .I'll just start by saying this was NOT the best day.

The girls are very verbal about expressing their love for me and appreciation for the things I do for them. Jack is 4 and still thinks I am the greatest thing around so. . .hugs, kisses and I love you's abound all day long. Grant is 9. . .and a boy. . .well, let's just say expressions of love don't come along all that often. Since he struggles daily with self control, I feel like all I say to him is "Stop that!" Don't do that! Come stand by me" etc. So, it had been a long trying day. I had gotten everyone into bed and was trudging upstairs to call it a day myself when what do I see on my pillow but this sweet little expression made by my Grant. Let me tell you, it put a little pep in my step and smile on my face and took several pounds off my heart. What a sweet thing to do!
