Voices

This morning I was listening to Radio Five Live and heard someone describing how he didn't think libraries were useful anymore because HE has a PC and broadband at home and that is how he found information.

I tweeted rather a rude response - and included Nicky Campbell name in the tweet (I wasn't rude about him!) and I tweeted again to say that the man should count himself lucky because the people who use the computers in the library where I work can not afford a PC or BB.

I was gobsmacked when it was read out on the breakfast show! It was a very surreal moment as I was actually more excited about a text I was reading...while my name was on the radio - as if it's an everyday occurance!
