this is my favourite niece - eve. she's hilarious and her naughty 7 year old antics delight me...my sister really wanted a girl after having my nephew louis - and she got a beezer! and she's one half of the comedy double-act 'steve and davie' (known as eve and daisy by day)...as mentioned before, never to be allowed into town together alone. never.

so...now that we're officially into awards season, me and my sister are back into our weekly cinema trips in an attempt to see most of the oscar/bafta nominated films before they are awarded. some may have noticed that we become slightly obsessed by this mission at this time of year - basically, if you're not oscar nominated, don't even bother speaking to us.
having seen the king's speech and social network (both great) we went to see 127 hours tonight...and this is the closest I've ever come to puking in a cinema. a good film - but bloody hell, if you're squeamish don't watch it - or take a sick bag and some oxygen for when you pass out.

so...three films down, what's next?
