sunday football

ah a freezing cold january afternoon and football. that takes me back.

well blippers after the effort i put into yesterdays blip only to end up with a somewhat sub par shot i was not really in the mood today. lexie had a birthday party to go to for one of her classmates. it was at one of those play centres for kids. you know the sort that ends up looking like a zoo enclosure only the animals have been replaced by kids. to be honest it's wasted on kids and they should build a bigger version for adults (or maybe it's just me and the refusal to grow up too much).
anyway on the way out i saw this game of football being played and inspired by the shots i saw at the exhibition last night (the one outside mayor ken's building) i thought why not give it a try. so out came the telescopic lens and i managed to rattle of only twenty or so shots before i was told to open the car as baby & Mrs McD were cold. so this is one of the better ones. i would have liked to have stayed longer as i was enjoying waiting on that certain moment. the tension of waiting on that perfect shot and not knowing when (or if) you will get it.
guess i'm going to have to spend more afternoons out in the cold so lets hope it's worth it.
