Restaurant Week
I kinda didn't want to go to Restaurant Week this time around. Even though it's cheaper, food just doesn't taste as good when it's mass-produced and you're sitting next to some douche in cargo pants and flip flops at a 5-star steak house.
But who am I kidding? I can't turn down a meal.
Tonight we went to WhisknLadle in La Jolla. It was yummy.
1st course: charcuterie board
2nd course: seared diver scallops
3rd course: vanilla bean panna cotta
