The Rhine in retreat

, Did my usual walk this morning, cold wind though, but I am determined to get at least 3 kilos off, and a be a bit fitter as well! Anyway, when I arrived at the top of the dam was pleasantly suprised at how much the levels have fallen, but also at the amount of dead trees and branches that are caught in the bushes and fences. By the way, this is not the actual Rhine, just its Floodplain. The Rhine is in the distance, the other side of the 3rd row of trees, where the small white dot is. in the centre of the photo...........
