Sunrise, (not very) early in the morning!

After a super sunset yesterday, we were spoilt by a lovely sunrise too! It was the start of a great day too, it was flat calm, chilly but with a bit of warmth from the sun as well.

We had the last of the bread for toast for breakfast, so I baked a new loaf this morning and made some lemon and almond muffins too. Had three visitors later in the day, so it was lucky that I had done! So often it happens that folk turn up just when the cake tin is empty and there is dust on every surface, today's visitors struck lucky!
