Venture Malawi visit Áras Kate
A group of staff from St John of God Services in Ireland visit Malawi each year at this time. They call themselves Venture Malawi and are led by John McManus on the right.
They are seen here with the little ones in Salisbury line, getting the welcome

John,
We had good time with the venture Malawi visiting our projects today. We first went to Lusangazi, toured the area and later we went to fit a pump at Doroba passing through Áras Kate and factory.
They were also supposed to plant trees at Ekaiweni. This failed because there was a funeral at the village.
At Lusangazi, there was a funeral. An old man has died. They were just two of them, a man and a wife. The time Mary was visiting the gogos at Lusangazi and setting up yhe group for the grannies, the wife was also there and got a pack of goodies!. She was so happy and was dancing alot. She is slender and has brown teeth. They came to ask for assistance. They do not have children and no relations. We will have to look after the widow now
