Slidey bum

We made it to the top of Volcano Villarica in time for lunch. We struck lucky with a small group - just us and a dutch couple Tim and Marietta, who were cool. It was a steep climb on snow covered slopes and the sulphuric gas on top made your lungs burn and your eyes water as you got close to the crater. The views from the top were out of this world, but I still have to master landscape photography I´m afraid - maybe will be some good enough to put on Flickr when I get home.

The best bit of the day though was coming down. We were given some ´nappy´things to strap to our bums and then we went down these huge slides. How fantastic. This is Mike on his way down.
