Up on the roof
This is another view from my window, but looking directly up the roof slates.
Classic scotch slate on display here although not much of them visible from this angle. They are a nicer colour than most slate you see on roofs these days as most new or replacement slate is either Welsh or more likely Spanish.
I was impressed by the lovely 'blueness' of the sky today and stuck my head out of the window to see how it could be best captured.
I had a few options that may be used in future blips but the old 'tin can' chimney pot at the ridge line looked favourite today.
Shots of metal and tools, specially for '@Appreciation', will have to wait for another day.
