Honesty Pods
Lunaria annua
Today was what I think the Scots mean by a dreich day- low cloud, occasional drizzle, and the temperature was struggling to make it into two digits C. Not a nice summer's day at all.
The garden is overgrown, neglected and bedraggled. I'm finding it difficult to find anything attractive in it. The ripening Honesty seed pods with their greens, magentas and browns seemed the best bet, but I just couldn't get the sort of image that I had in mind. Eventually I gave up and simply spun the camera. Then later in PhotoShop I brightened the levels. There's a pale pink poppy in there too.
Not bad in large.
