Morning Waves

We went down early before sunrise to see the Eddie Aikau surf contest. It's only run eight times in twenty five years because the waves have to be twenty feet minimum( hawaiian size). The waves were big enough but not consistent enough so the event didn't run. I kept my long lens in the car and snapped a quick shot with the iPhone. Maybe we will get a bigger swell later this month.
