Rattling trains

I blame Stephenson for the fact that we have uncomfortable trains. It was his stupid narrow gauge that did it. Brunel's wider gauge would have resulted in a much smoother ride. A bit like VHS as opposed to Betamax and iPhones as opposed to Android smartphones, it seriously pays to advertise! You can get people to buy into anything if you frame it right.
