Gritting in Progress

Another macro shot involving frost, and also another early morning.

Busy, busy day and I barely was able to move, much less go for a lunchtime walk.
I was amused by these giant salt crystals on the pavement, with their little islands of melt around them.

Usually you feel okay taking photographs. perhaps not this morning, as I must have looked quite like a fool.
