Marvellously mundane
I'm not ashamed to admit that there are many mundane moments in my days. These are interspersed with chaotic moments of work or child related vigour.
This may not be an artistic shot by any stretch of the imagination. And it's a kitten shot, which many people frown upon. But this morning, when alone with my daughter trying to get her ready for school, we surprisingly had some spare time. Which is very unusual. Very.
Girl reclined upon the sofa, lazily stretched out an arm and fondled the cat, and remained in this calm pose for some minutes. As she had been good, and was ready early, Scooby Doo was in the corner.
On the drive to work I pondered my blipping. I know that my blippery is dog heavy, and heavily home or woods based. But that sort of reflects my life outside work (my working life cannot be photographed). The only meaningful exclusion has been my family, which is a deliberate choice. And when I started this my motivation was a homage to the everyday, or to my everyday.
