gone botanical

went to the botanical gardens today, as part of a project that's going to be run for us that have been out of work for a while and lost our way a bit. I'm really glad I'll have something to do on Fridays and hopefully we'll get to eat some of the produce we grow at the end of it!

this is an orchid...I think it might be a carnivorous one or it's a carnivorous plant.....anyway took in the temperate house at the botanic gardens, was lovely and warm in there, i went in for some time out and to take some photos.

My friend has offered me a Fuji camera that she has for sale, I'm really tempted, it's not an SLR but it would be a good progression from my compact until I can afford an SLR, can't decide if I should get it or not, and if I do decide to it's going to be putting money in a pot for a while too. decisions! :)

anyway.....that's today done and I'm glad after my initial bottle out I managed to go to the gardens today and met some new people and took some positive steps.
