I'm glad I wasn't around a few hundred years ago when guys like this patrolled the streets.

It is actually the 'welcoming' sight that greets you at the entrance to a local church.

I might put one outside my flat to ward off the TV licensing people, who are insisting on visiting me, presumably because they don't believe my claim that I do not have a TV.

Well I don't. I listen to the radio a lot and do alien things like read books... but then I've bored blippers about that often enough in the past.

I've backblipped one - and it's probably worth looking at because it's rare good news about a local pub.
