Goodbye, Androblip

This will probably be my last blip using Androblip for Android, as I've gone against years of my own advice, and bought an iPhone.

Had the T-Mobile G2 Touch (HTC Hero) for 18 months, and although it's been overall pretty good, it's become laggy, and refuses to sync any more. Overall, I've become more and more frustrated with Android and it's fragmentation, and unhappy with the way Google update their software, compared to 'one size fits all' software updates Apple offers. Some of the permissions the 'free' Android applications ask for before installing are also frighteningly intrusive, if you ever read their terms and conditions. So, bought an iPhone 4, simply for an easy life.

We'll see how that pans out. On the other hand though, there's also a (official) Blipfoto app on the iPhone, so balance is slightly restored.
