Two little birds

These two little birds were re-enacting a scene from our apartment this morning. The little bird on the left (Emma) was desperately trying to wake up the bigger bird on the right (me) so they could spend the day doing something fun rather than sleeping in.

It occurred to us that we had hardly done anything in Vancouver that wasn't outside of the small 3 mile radius of the down town area. So today, after Emma eventually woke me, we hopped on the Sky Train, did some exploring and ended up in the Queen Elizabeth Park. These birds were in the Bloedel conservatory.

And the bird playing Emma, Casey, eventually woke up the big bird playing me, Monty.
