The St Ives/Carbis Bay feeding frenzy continues.
The shoals of what I believe are Whitebait are clearly still in the shallow waters off Porthminster beach and there were many hundreds of various sea birds flocking, diving, swooping and feeding on them. The fish were just flapping on the sand as the tide had retreated and, after the gulls had had their fill and were having a rest, the onlookers were picking up the still live fish from the sand and throwing them back into the shallow water - saved to be targetted the next time (in just a few minutes probably).
Large - if you dare get that close to them!
