The Crafty Cupcake

My first day in my new job at The Crafty Cupcake so it seemed appropriate that todays blip was a picture of the cupcakes I assisted in icing, I can't take all the credit but for my first time icing I didn't think they were half bad!

Who'd have thought so much precision goes into making Cappuccinos, Lattes, Mochas, Americanos etc etc, it really is an art form! The milk frothing I am yet to master after wasting approximately 4 pints of the white stuff trying ... oh well Rome wasn't built in a day! ... you may mock but you trying getting the good 'flat white' froth! And if you don't believe me they really do have training courses on how to do it!!!

Well a big thank you to Mrs B for having faith in me & making my first day such a pleasure & for letting me take a few snaps of one of the many cakes she has to offer ... it really is the place to be seen and has definately put Gamlingay on the map!
