New Year's

This is a Chinese New Year's decoration my mother made for her Chinese class. Apparently the word means Spring "Chun" (as in the season). I think this year is the year of the rabbit? nomnom carrots xD

It's time for the festival
We dress in red robes
Flowing with silk

It's time to celebrate
The fresh smell of pastries
Enveloping my face

It's time to dance
Firecrackers are flying
Looking like fiery flowers

It's time to be thankful
We make prayers
For our goals this year

It's time for the New Year.
