Skink

Today we celebrated one of Jacks friends birthday. She is a sweet girl in his preschool class, and is one of his favorites!!

She had a birthday party today which was so much fun! They had a man from Bwana Iguana come for the kids to show them all sorts of reptiles. There were snakes, some were small, others were HUGE!!!! There was a baby alligator, an iguana, a snapping turtle and a HUGE tortoise!! The kids could pet and hold all of them, and Jacks favorite was this guy....a blue tongued skink!!

Jack also got a chance to swing at the pinata a few times, hoping to knock the candy out of it for everyone to grab. They had pizza for lunch, and cupcakes and ice cream after!! It really was fun!

Also, last night, Jack and I made whoopie pies!! He loves cooking and baking, and always wants to make things! This was a trial run, we've never made these before...and were they ever YUMMY!!! Wanna see??? Check them out here!!
