Leaves galore

This is the huge pile of leaves at the edge of Laren Hockey Club carpark - was there this morning for a mid-winter match for Josh's team (8 & 9 year olds). Was hoping to get a blip of the game - they won 5-2 - but nothing decent.

Thought this pile was worth a blip. We have beautiful woods in this part of Holland, and autumn really is a symphony of colours. This shot shows the 'stadium after the show' side, while the cleaners are still busy.

Also gives you a small feel for the amount of biomass that is (re)generated each year.
