William Thomas, along with fellow protestor Connie Piccioto, has held his vigil across the street from the White House since 1981. the demonstration is there twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. together they founded the Proposition One Committee, to promote "Reason and Sanity and an End to War in illustration of the ideals of non-violence."
