More portraits...

Decided to try and put into practices some of the stuff I learnt yesterday.. thing is yesterday I had people willing to sit on their arse and be photographed.

This one was with the on camera flash pointing behind me onto a white reflector. The background didn't dull out as much as I hoped so I had to burn out quite a bit to get the effect I wanted. I think I need some black velvet for these shots or another big reflector with a black option. This would probably work better. I'd like to try the silver reflector on a shot like this as well., see if I can get a bit more "oomph" into it.

Still getting there.

On other activities, I've been trying to install a wireless card onto an old Dell desktop loaded with XP to give to Callum, there is a very good reason I bought a Mac. I'll now have to consult a geek, you just shouldn't have to consult geeks in the 21st century when you are trying to put in a wireless card.
