Fishing

Today is our last day on the Barrier. Last night we stayed out on the boat but an electrical fault meant we had to head back to the bay. Instead we collected some oysters and went fishing off the rocks.

Adam christened his rod and reel. He managed to successfully cast a number of times by himself off the rocks, and then caught 3 fish without Daddy's help. One pretty chuffed little man ;-)

Sadly, after nearly 2 weeks of glorious weather and lots of family fun we then caught a plane for the 30 minute flight back to Auckland late afternoon. Until next year Great Barrier ...
