Master of all she surveys.
We decided this morning to head to the beach, and chose Wells-next-the-Sea (Norfolk) as we've not been there for a while.
It wasn't too cold, except for the wind, which really had an edge. Anyway, a lovely day of running across the beach, sinking in the wet sand, charging up the dunes, and bounding through the pine trees that skirt the beach. We finished off late afternoon with a stop at the chippy, and the food was spectacular - partly because we hadn't eaten all day, but the food was hot and rather nice.
Of the pictures I took, this one may be technically poor - too slow shutter speed and noise from the higher iso has lost a little detail. But - Lil had noticed the people on the next dune, given them a questioning stare, before turning her nose into the wind. I had a second to grab this, and it amused me.
A fine day, and steak for tea, to be followed by watching the current family favourite (except of course the little one) Black Books. Lil appears content to just snore the day away.
