Rigged
Headed into Dundee for a swim this afternoon and as the man decided he wanted to go into the gym first, I decided to go for a walk while he was busy on the bikes and weights machines.
Didn't last long, freezing cold and well, when your camera finger won't even move to signal your displeasure at a passing motorist, you know it';s time to go in search of something a bit warmer! (I didn't really meet anyone who deserved such a gesture, it just sounded funny, honest!!!).
Anyway, with a possible blip in the bag, I stuck myself in the steam room until the man was finished doing the hard work. Pity you can't blip in there. Would never have to get cold again. Sure it would make a mess of my camera though. Ah well, it's a hard life, but somebody's got to do it...
On the way out I was chatting to some of the other women in the changing rooms. There had been a wedding fair on and we were discussing how much it costs to tie the proverbial knot these days. Worst we could come up with was a basic cake costing about £500, a dress costing £25,000 (yes you heard me right, TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND QUID) and a photographic package starting at a mere £995! OMG! Add to that the seat covers (all tied on with ribbons and bows, the cars, the flowers.... need I go on?
Anyone fancy a change of career?
PS The image - is of that rig thingy that I blipped ages ago. I'd love to say that it was taken as it was getting dark but truth is that, it hasn't ever been very bright today. There have been lots of odd cloud formations - kind of striated look to the sky - cloud then almost blue sky then back to cloud again. Don't know what's going on with that tower on the RHS though - looks like an artefact but its not. Took the same image from several different angles and all show the same distortion. Weird!
PPS Have just looked at tit in big and it looks as if it's getting a paint job - hence the odd appearance!
PPS Thanks to comments have just noticed the typo - oops!
