Peer pressure
They're his sister's jammies.
He wants to be just like her.
He can play football in them if he likes.
I hear people talk about peer pressure as if it's a bad thing, that afflicts kids like drugs and alcohol and video games.
But I wonder if wanting to be like someone else for a bit, trying things on, copying your big sister, or your Dad, or even your pals, is part of finding out who you were made to be.
I was made to love him, I've worked out that much.
And that flowery jammies are not me.
