Action!

Today we woke up early to climb one hill nearby named Konttainen. The hill is not really that high as it tales only 30-45mins to climb to the top from the road but it still has some really nice and steep lines. The downside is that the hill is mostly bare rock, so the heath gradient is big and the avalanche risk is bigger than usually.

During the day we did two descents, the first one pictured here is a nice face with some powder snow and bumps. The place is just 50-100m away from steeper section that has taken few skiers to better skiing areas so to speak :( Anyway we were careful and only got few rockbites to our skis. The second run we did at the other side where there is some really nice woods to ski. Got a real runner up for this blip from there but..

After these still had time to visit groomers with our son U, who is just starting to ski. This was his 3rd day with alpine skis, Had fun!
