post-rumblestrip
Whilst we remembered things like a spare vest, spare nappies, lunch and spoons we forgot spare trousers, something for his tea and his pyjamas, necessitating a wake-up and change when we got in from an afternoon visiting people in Glasgow at about nine in the evening. Fortunately he went swiftly to sleep and stayed asleep for how long he normally stays asleep after being put to bed but this just meant that it was half-past one in the morning rather than half-past eleven at night when he woke up and started burbling, already standing expectantly up in his cot when I went through. Now that his snotting and vomiting appears to be back to normal levels it'll have soon be time to again resume sacrificing sleep and higher cognitive functionality in order to get him to stay in his own bed all night.
