Birch Bark and Fern

Went walking with Arvin this afternoon. We went up the hill into Big Rock Park. By the path was a huge birch tree that had fallen in a windstorm. The bark was turning brown from the wet. It made a perfect abstract photographic playground. Here's one of the photos I took. More will follow but I don't have time to post them yet. Check this one out in large.
