Snowy hiking, a cure for the Sunday blues

It's amazing the difference some fresh air can make. I thought Sunday was going to become one of those... wasted, morose ones. Just as malaise was setting in, I decided to set off for a small mountain quite near my house and hiked with a friend. I took the opportunity to try out some of the features on my new camera, too. I was particularly happy with this one and thought it a good one to start the journal with. The mountain was snowy and spooky. The woods look haunted and haunting, particularly in this light.
