Again

We've been here before - back in October. It's Herne Bay and it's still very cold. I had a meeting in Canterbury and called in on the way home. I used to live in Scarborough and seaside resorts out of season have a certain charm but it was so cold today that I didn't hang around. You nearly got The Divers Arms because I liked the contrast of this spick and span pub in front or the derelict building and I think this rock dove came out well too - he was sitting on a cannon, watching out for the Armada or the Napoleonic fleet sailing up the Thames. I went with this one because of the birds; I think they give it some movement and interest.
