Stile

A regular feature of my walk to the shops, if I take the scenic route, as I nearly always do, is negotiating this old stile which lies between the old canal and the River Marden. No matter how many times one revisits the same location, there is always something that catches the eye anew, and today it was the small ivy that clings to this worn post. The path is a permissive one, not a right of way, and was once a part of Bowood Park.
