Salvage Art

I first met Barbie when visiting my Aunt in San Diego - what a wonderful woman. She's brought up 5 children, has the most amazing house full of wonderful bits and pieces and books and is always on the go. In the corner of her kitchen is her work desk where she makes wonderful cards - salvage art. Here are just 3 of them - ones I am supposed to be using to send others as greeting, but I might just have to keep hold of them ...

I am now very honoured to be an "adopted daughter" to her family. I like to think I remind Barbie of her good friend Freda, my aunt, who is now no longer with us.
